Teresa is a compassionate nurse leader and an author with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare. As Chief Nursing Officer at a tertiary care medical center, she is devoted to creating healthy, collaborative environments where nurses, nurse leaders and teams thrive.

Her writing- rooted in wellness, leadership and the art of balance- invites readers to reconnect with purpose and presence in their personal and professional lives. Teresa is a wife, mom, entrepreneur and baker at her family’s small farm bakery, where she finds inspiration in the rhythms of home, community and care.

Teresa’s Story

Teresa is a nurse leader, author and advocate for wellness in both the workplace and everyday life. With over 25 years experience , she currently serves as Chief Nursing Officer at a tertiary care medical center, where she champions professional growth, interdisciplinary collaboration and health work environments that empower teams to flourish.

A proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (Bachelors of Science in Nursing) and the University of Hartford (Masters of Science in Nursing), Teresa’s leadership and writing are guided by compassion, curiosity and the belief that caring for others begins with caring for ourselves.

Her published works include an article on teamwork and healthy work environments in nursing practice and a reflection chapter on wellness in An Empowering Leadership Guide for Emerging Nurses. She is currently writing her forthcoming book on wellness- an exploration of prescence, purpose and the path to thriving in today’s demanding world.

Beyond her professional life, Teresa finds grounding in family and the simple joys of her family’s small farm bakery, where she is baker, crafter and storyteller. Whether writing, mentoring or leading, Teresa’s work reflects her lifelong commitment to nurturing connection, wholeness and the gentle courage it takes to grow and personally develop.
